This Carbon Reduction Plan has been developed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and WPPN 06 procurement policy guidance for suppliers to the public sector.

Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

We Care You Plus is committed to reducing its environmental impact and supporting the UK and Welsh Government commitment to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

As a provider of domiciliary care services, we recognise that our primary environmental impact arises from staff travel between service users’ homes, office energy usage and administrative operations.

We Care You Plus is committed to continuously reviewing operational practices and implementing measures that will reduce our carbon footprint while maintaining high-quality and reliable care services.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions represent the greenhouse gases produced prior to the introduction of carbon reduction initiatives and provide a reference point against which emissions reductions can be measured.
As a small domiciliary care provider, detailed carbon measurement systems are currently being developed. However, our primary emission sources have been identified as staff travel, electricity usage and operational activities
